Hi Artemis,
Peter Haynes is in Londonderry, and although he's not straight dressage, he's very good. It's all about getting the horse going forward and in a rhythm. At the end of a lesson you're always exhausted, because you're not allowed to just be a 'passenger' - you have to RIDE!

I can highly recommend Sally Barbera, she is at Wilberforce and is a Level 2. She was an eventer but now she does straight dressage (was riding FEI last year) and she has taught me in dresage and jumping for about a year. I now have been competeing at elemnentary level and hadn't competed at dressage at all when I first went to her. Her number is :45799484

Definitely try Vicki Brydon. She is at Tennyson and is excellent. I have been going to her for 13 years. Her number is 45712191 or 0428512191

Go for Vicky Brydon I've been riding with her for years and she is great. She can yell, but it's only because she wants you to win It's good because she judges at the events so she knows what is going on with the sport and knows what the judges are really looking for.
