Im about to try a new noseband, not sure what its called... its used by polo players ..its a plain cavassen (sorry bout the spelling) with a rope across the front..not mean just instead of a gag with two reins that I'm using at the moment...not sure whether it's acceptable...Does anyone use one??? (if they know what I'm talking about) any help would be great!

While I do not know the exact type of caveson, it is not shown in the National Rules (Pages 56 - 60), and therefore not suitable to use in Dressage. Rules 40 and 59 (gear for Xc and jumping respectively) do not specifically prohibit this, provided that it is not likely to injure the horse. Vince
