Northside Riding Club are having an info night for members and NON members at the club house in St Ives, Sydney: Dr Stephanie Xavier, a local horse owner, rider, and member of NRC as well as a representative for Pfizer who are producing the vaccine will be speaking and answering questions along with Dr Matthew Murphy from the Terrey Hills Animal Hospital. A representative from the DPI (Department of Primary Industries) will also be attending to discuss biosecurity and PIC (Property Identification Codes). Following the talk a group vaccination session will be scheduled at the Princess Anne Arena, at St Ives Show-ground on Saturday 16th March with the follow-up 2nd dose being done on the 6th April. A discounted price has been made available for all participants: $100 per vaccine (2 required in total to complete the vaccination program – 21 days apart). If your horse(s) doesn’t already have a micro-chip, then a micro-chipping service will also available for $40 per horse – it is a requirement of the vaccination program for your horse(s) to be microchipped.
