i know that there is now no min. height for horses/ponies who event, but is there a ruling about the max. age for sum one riding the pony ie. in dressage you have to be under 16 to ride ponies...thanks

I think adults can ride ponies because there was an adult riding a pony at Macarthur in Intro in March. It was very cute!

There is no rule (as far as i know) my friend just rode at berrima this weekend on a (just) 14hh pony in the adult class..its strange though that you say you have to be under 16 for dressage, because she's taking this pony in pony dressage and shes 22

I'm an adult who rides a pony (just on 13.3hh). I ride him in all disciplines from Endurance and Eventing to Dressage and Hacking.
Until now, all Official Pony Dressage has been for riders under 16. From now on, ponies in Official Pony Dressage may be ridden by any age rider (yay!). So far I have only competed in Unofficial Open and Pony Dressage on my little one.
