Just give the EFA a call - they'll be able to help you. I *think* that a horse can only be downgraded 1 grade (same as dressage), but I'm sure that you could jump in unofficial classes, or ride HC in official classes.....

I'm pretty sure you can downgrade to any grade you want. I'm not sure about show jumping but in eventing you can.

I thought it was that with a new owner, or if the horse hasn't competed for two years you can go down a grade, but only one. (my friend had this problem with an A Grade showjumper)

anna baird owned him and i believe she still does. he wasnt really for sale when i tried him out but she had so many horses and he has a very big future and she knew that when he went 2** (which he is now) she would be pushed for time to do him justice. i spent a week tossing up between him and doog but just decided that i would go with the older honest experienced horse over the younger flashier horse!! he is an amazing horse and would not be surprised if we see him winning 4**** in the near future!!
