hey every1. ive been told we cant use hoof black or black hoof oil in dressage, it MUST be clear?? Does anyone know if this is true and when it comes into "action"?? wats it all about anyway?!?!?!

ive been told off for having 'blackit' on my horses feet when i 1st started so we just use the clear. i dont see much hoof black round.

I use hoof black and everyone i know uses hoof black. At comps all you see is hoof black on their feet so i'm not sure but hoof black is everywhere and i don't see why it should be against the rules

i use hoof black-it from intro-pre nov, and use it when competing 1*etc only at national ODE, because when at international ODE & 3DE they have to a vert/identification check, so if u've painted a white hoof black, or painted feet at all the vets have to assume that this horse may not be the horse entered or match the identification papers. But i use it for the lower levels
