Hi,
Just wanted to clarify whether a sweet iron snaffle is legal in dressage. My understanding of the rules is that it has to be one metal and from the looks of ir, it looks like one metal but its a bit of an unusal metal for dressage, ive never seen anyone use one.
Can someone help Please.

Sam, Sweet iron snaffles are okay for dessage, as long as all of the bit, that is in the horses mouth is sweet iron. You can not have another metal inside the horses mouth. e.g. a snaffle with a link or roller in the middle made of copper or some other metal.
