rubber/apple happy mouths in dressage?

just wanted to check if you were aloud to ride in a happy mouth for dressage.? its a standard single jointed loose ring snaffle but where the join is it is metal and the rest is rubber. so its the usual happy mouth bit, and i just wasn't sure if you could have the 2 different materials in the mouth?

Yes, the bit you describe is bit No7 of the National Eventing rules.
"Rubber, leather, plastic or steel snaffle jointed or unjointed".
